Old navigation, tap on account, tap on Inbox (i.e. title bar) to get “choose a folder…” presentation screen. Then tap on “Local”. You now see 7 local folder names: (1) deleted on device, (2) drafts on device, (3) outbox, (4) sent from device, (5) pending delete, (6) dispositions, and (7) archive.
If you tap on any of local folders (1), (5), (6) or (7), you are then presented with the contents of that local folder. The title bar shows the account name in small font, and the local folder name in larger font below it. If you then tap on the title bar, it bounces you back up one level, bringing you back up one level to the original “choose a folder…” presentation showing the seven local folders. This is all perfect, as expected.
However if instead you tap on local folders (2), (3) or (4), you are again presented with the contents of that local folder, but now tapping on the title bar DOES NOTHING! It does NOT bounce you back up one level to the “choose a folder…” presentation. It is simply non-functional. Aggravating the effect, if you instead push the BACK button it bounces you all the way back up to the original opening navigation screen. So you now have to start the drill-down tapping process all over again in order to get back to the “choose a folder…” presentation to select another local folder (or navigate to a user folder).
In summary, if you tap on local folders (2), (3) of (4), it is IMPOSSIBLE TO BOUNCE BACK UP TO “CHOOSE A FOLDER…” by tapping on the title bar. But if you tap on local folders (1), (5), (6) or (7), well now the title bar IS FUNCTIONAL and tapping on it bounces back up one level to the “choose a folder…” presentation.
Note that in ALL CASES, when drilled-down into any folder (user or local) the use of the BACK button DOES NOT BOUNCE BACK UP JUST ONE LEVEL (to “choose a folder…”) AS YOU MIGHT INTUITIVELY HOPE AND EXPECT. Instead, using the BACK button while down in any folder immediately exits from the current drilled-down location all the way back up to the opening navigation screen, requiring starting of the drill-down process all the way from the top all over again. This to me is extremely counter-productive and inefficient for the user causing a large number of really unnecessary extra finger strokes and taps. This is what should at least be a user-customizable option as I feel BACK should simply ALWAYS JUST SIMPLY BOUNCE BACK UP ONE THE CURRENT NAVIGATION TREE TO THE NEXT-UP LEVEL NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE.
BACK should simply reverse the drill-down process that got you to where you currently are and go back up one level, no matter where you are. Use of BACK should intuitively “go back one level” ALWAYS. It should never exit the program, nor should it take you to the opening navigation screen (unless you’re currently one level down from that screen).
Anyway, the point of THIS bug report is that for local folder cases (2), (3) and (4), tapping on the title bar DOES NOTHING, whereas for local folder cases (1), (5), (6) and (7) tapping on the title bar does bounce up one level back to the “choose a folder…” presentation. This is how it should also work for (2), (3) and (4).

The fact that tapping on the title bar for (2), (3) and (4) FAILS TO WORK AS EXPECTED is a real frustration, especially when going into DRAFTS ON DEVICE in order to delete something, and then wanting to get back to the “Choose a folder” presentation. It is really infuriating when tapping on the title bar is completely ineffective in doing anything, and now my only choice is to hit the BACK button which also does not do the right thing!!!
BACK takes me all the way back to the top of the program, instead of simply going back up one level to “Choose a folder” as I want and expect. Then I have to start all over, coming back down the navigation ladder to once again get to “Choose a folder…”. That’s all I want, is a quick and easy single-click one-tap method of getting back up one level, to “Choose a folder”… from any of the seven “local folders”.
The fact that tapping on the title bar from (2), (3) and (4) fails, whereas tapping on the title bar from (1), (5), (6) and (7) works, seems like a major defect from the user’s perspective causing great inconvenience and unnecessary extra finger taps and clicks. This should NOT HAPPEN of course. How hard could it be to fix?? Seems easy enough.
Tapping on the title bar should ALWAYS go back up to “Choose a folder”, from all seven “local folders”. Period. It should not work for four folders and fail for three folders.
Please fix this one.

This problem was originally reported last October 2015. And it is still present in the latest 4.25 of MD Pro in April 2016.
If you are viewing the contents of local folders (2) drafts on device, (3) outbox, and (4) sent from device, and you tap on the title bar, you ARE NOT SHOWN THE “choose a folder…” dialog. Instead, nothing at all happens. This is wrong.
In contrast, if you are viewing the contents of folders (1) deleted on device, (5) pending delete, (6) dispositions, and (7) archive, and you tap on the title bar, you ARE SHOWN the “choose a folder…” dialog, as should correctly happen.
It really is annoying, since very often you’ll be wanting to continue composing and then SEND a “draft” started earlier. And when you finish and your completed email gets “sent” and the entry in “drafts” disappears, your immediate desire is now to go somewhere else… like PICK A FOLDER AND GO THERE. Well, unfortunately, tapping on the title bar in the “Drafts on device” folder DOES NOTHING!!! So first you try that and it fails, and you GRRR…, and then you press BACK which takes you someplace unpredictable completely and which is obviously not where you wanted to be which is simply at the “Choose a folder…” dialog again.
Equally annoying is when you go into the “sent from device” folder, to review what you’ve sent from the phone. Because of another bug it is no longer possible to MOVE any of these messages from SENT to a user-folder, but at least it’s still possible to DELETE these if desired. Once this is finished, I now want to navigate to some other user or local folder, and I intuitively tap on the title bar expecting to then get the standard “choose a folder…” dialog. But again, it’s broken for “sent from device” and simply does nothing.
Please fix this. Do you appreciate how annoying and irritating this small defect with big effect is for your users? Why can’t it just be fixed once and for all to simply work properly for the identified 3 local folders where it is currently failing? It already works properly for 4 of these local folders… why not for all 7???
Four of your “local” folders work fine when you tap on their title bar and produce “choose a folder…”. But three of your “local” folders fail to respond at all when you tap on their title bar. Is this really so hard to fix? Could it honestly take more than a few minutes to locate in the code and correct? You already have 4 out of 7 working correctly. Obviously the other 3 have some slight difference which should be easy to make look just like the other 4 which work perfectly.
Isn’t it reasonable for the user to expect ALL 7 LOCAL FOLDERS to behave identically when you tap on their title bar?
Please, fix this.

Happens all the time. I send an email from the phone, and the email gets automatically placed in “Sent from device” folder. I would prefer that it automatically gets filed elsewhere, but it doesn’t. Goes into “sent from device”.
Then I go to “sent from device”, where I’d like to tap on MENU so that I can “MOVE” it to another folder where it belongs. And of course I can’t, because “MOVE” mysteriously and wrongly disappeared from the popup menu some number of releases ago, and this bug has never been corrected. So it’s just impossible to MOVE anything from “sent from device” to anywhere!!
So, I now can only DELETE it, which I do. And then I’d like to navigate to another user or local folder, which should ALWAYS BE POSSIBLE by tapping on the title bar (which currently presents “sent from device” folder title). And, because of this still other bug which was reported last October and STILL IS PRESENT, tapping on the “sent from device” folder title DOES NOTHING!!! It is one of these three local folders [(2) drafts on device, (3) outbox, and (4) sent from device] which for some reason DO NOTHING WHEN YOU TAP ON THE TITLE BAR!!!
The other four local folders react perfectly when you tap on their title bar, producing an overlay showing all seven local folders as well as a way to get the complete list of user folders displayed. But these three local folders… AND IN PARTICULAR “Sent from device”… DO NOTHING WHEN YOU TAP ON THE TITLE BAR!!
Why should this be? It’s clearly a bug, or very bad design if intentional as it is VERY UNFRIENDLY AND INCONSISTENT TO THE USER.
3 out of 7 local folders fail, and 4 out of 7 local folders work fine. Why?
Why not just fix this? How much time could it take to fix?
Every time I get into “Sent from device” I am angry. I can’t MOVE, and I can’t tap on the title bar to get the folder list overlay.

Another bump for this bug report, as another month goes by with no action to fix it.
There’s no reason why all 7 “local folders” should not behave just like “user folders”, when 4 out of 7 do perform correctly and the other 3 out of 7 perform incorrectly.
What, might this take all of 5 minutes to fix??
Just shameful how the author has abandoned this wonderful software product of his, completely ignoring forum bug reports by users and choosing never to fix anything that is clearly and demonstrably broken. Some of these bugs have been reported for almost 3 years now (by email originally back years agao, and then by forum post later when the forum became available), but to no avail.
Abandoned.
