How to reply inline with auto quote?

Hello,

I am a relative new user of MailDroid and like it very much so far. It is fast and easy to use.

However I have a problem I am not to be able to fiddle out of my own.

I am used to respond to mails inline. That means, not on top or bottom of the reply. I intersperse the original mail I am replying to with my answers for that concrete sentence/section I am currently answering to.

However if I hit reply and then “respond inline” I can reach the original text, but that text is not quoted/cited automatically. So if I simply start to type my answer, it will get mixed in at the same level like the content of the original mail.

So I would like to ask if there is a possibility to let MailDroid quote/cite the original mail by prepending e.g. ‘>’ before the original content, wrap it and then allow me to respond inline?
