I am trying to set up my BT mail account on my Samsung Galaxy S8. I previously used MailDroid with this account on a Galaxy S5 with no problems.
The settings I am using are

IMAP
server: mail.btinternet.com
Port 993
TLS/SSL enabled

SMTP
server: mail.btinternet.com
Port 465
TLS/SSL enabled

This keeps failing with Read timed out.

I have contacted BT and Samsung about this, and both of them seem to think it’s somebody else’s problem.
