I can’t save attachments of e-mails to external sd-card.
MailDroid tells, “there is no sd-card”.
But there is one!
Saving on internal storage medium works fine.
Mobile is a Galaxy S5 with Android 5.0.
Maid Droid is 4.26.
How to resolve?
More detailed, what I do:
I want to save the JPG attachments in a “Pictures” folder on my SD card which is then viewable with the phone’s Gallery app. So I click the attachment icon in MailDroid, and then I check the JPG’s, and then I push the “Save as…” button.
A dialog then appears that gives me five choices for where to save these attachments:
SDCard
Dropbox
Box.com
Google Drive
OneDrive
I tap on the SDCard item, expecting it to then reveal an Explorer-view of my (external) SD card (which I had put in my Galaxy S5 of course), so that I can navigate to where I want to save these attachments. And the error message tels me “no sd card !”
But there definitely is one – Maid Droid is running on that external SD Card 🙂
I have shifted Maid Droid to the external SD Card, so ot’s there, is active and on and the SDcard is working.
=> I’ve no glue, how I can save pictures there.
Saving on the phone storage is no issue, that works.
But all the other pictures are on my SDcard…
