I love the Search feature in MailDroid Pro (4.16) but I would love it even more if it could be improved:
1. The only feedback received during a search is “Loading…” but more of a progress meter or at least an animation demonstrating activity is occurring in the background would be helpful and reassuring. This is especially true when using the Online Search feature which can take a lot longer. Also, “Loading…” appears in the accent color and some combinations of background and accent colors do not allow for enough contrast to make it legible. In my case it’s purple on black and impossible to read.
2. Search filters would be really helpful. Currently the search feature searches everything within a folder. I suggest being able to scope search query to From Address, To Address, Subject, Body, and Headers.
3. It would also be great if the search would allow searching multiple folders at the same time.
4. Searching locally or online could be a toggle in the search window rather than two separate screens.
