Intuitively, I would expect to be able to maintain any folders I’ve created for an account at least through Settings for that account. That would include adding a new folder, deleting an existing folder, or renaming an existing folder. However there is no such capability at the moment.

Instead, the “Folders” item in Settings has no useful meaning for me that I can understand. What is it for, and how is it supposed to be used, I know not. If it actually has some purpose (which I’m sure it must) it certainly is not intuitive to me. For sure it’s not the type of user-created folder maintenance capability functionality I’m asking for.

Instead, the only way currently available to do maintenance to user folders as I’m requesting is to tap on the top “folder name” bar (whatever it’s really called in your program terminology) when looking at the contents of a user-defined folder, to then present the “choose a folder” superimposed view. It is only from this “choose a folder” presentation that user-defined folder maintenance is possible.

Alternatively, if I’m looking at the “folder name” contents view (whatever it’s called in your program terminology) I would perhaps intuitively guess that pushing the MENU button (lower-left corner of the phone) would also present something like “Folder Maintenance” in the popup MENU context menu. But again, that doesn’t happen. The MENU context popup shows only select all checkboxes, search, sort, settings (for the program, not for the folder), notification channels, and about. But there is no “folder maintenance” that would allow me to directly rename or delete the current folder immediately from this current folder-specific contents view for the folder whose contents I’m already looking at.

So I feel “ADD/EDIT USER FOLDERS” should also be possible and available from (a) Account Settings, as well as (b) from the popup context menu list from use of the MENU button while currently viewing the contents list presentation of any folder.

Is this not a reasonable request? Seems like devising navigation shortcuts and design to minimize user clicks and inconvenience is a good thing.

I’d at least like to know your opinion, since this is a “features request” discussion group.

You’ve replied with your comments to all other posts in this forum, but not to any of mine.
